Oscar Armando Fonseca

Oscar entered this world on January 11th, 1997, to proud parents Maria Avila and Tomas Fonseca in Leon, GTO. His loving family relocated to California, and finally made their forever home in Columbus, Ohio.  Oscar was not only a son, a brother, an uncle, but also a great friend. Oscar was hard working, he was currently employed at Zulily, and was a Security Guard, goal-oriented, Oscar attended Columbus City Schools, very smart, funny - Oscar was always smiling and enjoying life since he was young, this is also how he got his nickname "Smiley", giving- he would always lend a helping hand any way he could,  kind & caring, Oscar put his family first always, anything they needed and he could provide, he would, Oscar was also well respected by all, family & friends alike. Oscar had a can- do attitude and never gave up on anything he set his mind too. He and his family are very proud of the life he lived and his accomplishments during his short time here with us. Oscar loved to spend time with family and friends, taking care of his beloved dogs, playing GTA and sleeping. Oscar is survived by his family, Parents Maria Avila and Tomas Fonseca, Siblings Rocio, Joaquin, Tomas, Miguel, and Mario, Grandfather Avila, Best Friends Brian and Juan. Oscar is further survived by several aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to extend a great big thank you to all who have sent a prayer, stopped by, sent a text, phone call or any other kind gesture during their time of need.
