Chief Master Sargent Patrick Raymond Glonek was born on March 10, 1933, in Superior, Wisconsin, and passed into the hands of God on June 25, 2022, at the age of 89.

Patrick "Pat" was the second youngest of seven children, attended St. Francis Catholic grade school, graduated from Superior East High School, and enlisted in the Air Force in January of 1953. Pat served with honor in active military duty for 20+ years in The Korean Conflict, Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Vietnam Era. During this time, he was stationed in Lockborne AFB, Goosebay Labrador, Wright Pat AFB, and Ben Greer in North Africa though his favorite was the Philippines. Pat retired in August of 1973, was employed at GE Super Abrasives for 20 years, and finally retired for good in 1992.

Pat enjoyed hunting and fishing with his siblings and friends as a young man, and he shared this love with others throughout his life. He especially looked forward to the annual trips to Canada with his lifelong friend, John Heath, and family, Mark Glonek, Patrick Glonek, Boone Campbell, Chris Claar, and Don Janicki just to name a few.

Pat married the love of his life, Marguerite "Margie" Schaub, in 1983 and was committed to her for over 39 years. Pat and Margie traveled the world with trips to Ireland, Hawaii, Alaska, Caribbean while also visiting family in Texas, Florida, and Wisconsin over the years.

Pat selflessly gave to those in his life by sharing his time, joys, and love. Pat made himself available to others and will be dearly missed, but we will keep moving forward and live by his motto, "Keep on Truck'in."

Pat leaves behind his wife Margie (Schaub) Glonek, children Catherine Drolet (Timothy), Mark Glonek (Janet), Robert Glonek, Patricia Cooper, Jodi Schaub-Foor, grandchildren Stephanie Campbell (Boone), Patrick Glonek, Louis "Gabriel" Drolet, Chris Claar, Shawn Claar, and Lindsay Weeks (Robert). Additionally, he leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Frank and Anna Glonek, siblings Mary Pettijohn (Bill), James Glonek (Cathy), Eileen Janicki (George), Daniel "Spike" Glonek (Evelyn), Nettie Glonek, Mick Glonek (Lillian), children Sharon Ferguson, Sandra Schaub, son-in-law Ricky Foor and granddaughter Taylor Leigh Glonek.

The family invites all to come and honor his life at Evans Funeral Home 4171 E. Livingston Ave. on Wednesday July 6, 2022, from 4-7 PM and funeral service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, 10:00 AM. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to the Whitehall VFW Post #8794 at 4100 East Main Street, Whitehall, Ohio 43213.

The family invites each of you to share a meal together after the Graveside service on Thursday, July 7 ^th at Jefferson Country Club, 7271 Jefferson Meadows Drive, Blacklick, Ohio 43004.  All are welcome!
