Phyllis Joan Brooks age 92 passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023.  Born June 13, 1931.  Member of Congregation Wonderland Community Church.  Survived by husband of 61 years Ernie Brooks, sons Earl "Butch" (Sue) Sark of Lancaster, Jerry (Kathy) Brooks of Baltimore; brother George "Woodie" (Sharon) Hooper of Baltimore; cousins, Alana Donley of Canal Winchester, David and Agnes Lucas of Baltimore, David and Debbie Edgar of Buckeye Lake; niece, Dianne Sheeder of Pickerington; lifelong special friend, Nellie Burns of Pickerington; 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many others who called her Grandma.  Preceded in death by grandparents, Graville and Virgie Moore; mother Inez (George) Hooper, father Paul Walt Sr., twin brother John Paul Walt, sisters, Virginia Graham, aunts, Opal and Hoyt Lucas, Louise Christian.  Friends may call Monday, September 18, 2023, 5-7 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where the funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 11:00 AM.
