Phyllis Anita Lowery age 76 passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.  Born March 19, 1946, Winston Salem, NC.  She loved the Lord and became a member of Whitehall Baptist Church early on in life.  Phyllis graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in Columbus, Ohio class of 1963.  She was fascinated with fashion design and became a model for Lazarus in Columbus, Ohio. She went on to graduate from Massey Design Institute in Atlanta, GA approximately 1975 and then went on to become a model for Saks Fifth Avenue.  She continued her studies in Europe.  After returning to the states, she opened a cleaning business known as Phylea Construction Inc. in 1983 and in 1986 opened another business known as Baskets From the Heart.  She loved nature and enjoyed going to nearby parks, which gave her great peace. She was very kind and loving person. She loved her family and always stayed in touch with her sister Anne (John) Nichols, who lives out of state, and her brothers Steve of Reynoldsburg and David, who preceded her in death. Also survived by 5 nieces and 3 nephews. Preceded in death by parents Gaither and Virginia Lowery, sister Linda Lowery. Graveside service and interment Saturday, May 21, 2022, 11:00 AM Glen Rest Cemetery.  Pastor Darryl Hammock officiating.
