Ray "Bub" M. Bailey, 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 17, 2024. Born on
August 5, 1946, in Ironton, Ohio, he was a devoted husband to Rosalie B. Bailey, a loving
father to his children Billy, Ray Jr., and Mark, and a cherished grandfather to Mark Jr., Nicole,
and Mathew.
Ray was known for his kind and giving nature, his passion for golf, and his skillful hands that
provided for his family. He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his loved
ones and his outstanding skills on the golf course.
He Is survived by his wife, children, daughter-in-law Anna, and grandchildren.
Ray was a member of Westphal Baptist Church and found solace and community in his
faith.
In his spare time, Ray enjoyed golfing and spent many hours perfecting his game on the
course. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will
forever be cherished and never forgotten.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, 12:00 pm., at Evans Funeral Home,
4171 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. The family will receive guests one hour prior
to the service. Burial will be at Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. All are
welcome to attend and pay their respects.
