Richard D. Gabbard born July 28, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, after a long illness.  Graduate of Wehrle High School class of 1970. Richard loved passionately his family, his friends, and OSU football.  He enjoyed physical work and was always leading the way.  He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Patrick W. Murphy, father Homer C. Gabbard, mother, Helen G. Gabbard (Murphy), sisters Linda L. and Jill E. Gabbard, brother Sanford J. Gabbard.  Survived by brother Steven C.
