Risto Tale Nocevski peacefully passed away on the evening of Saturday, September 9, 2023. Risto was born on Thursday, September 22, 1932, in Bukovo, near Bitola in Macedonia. He was the son of father, Tale Nocevski, and mother, Masa Nocevska. His older sister was Nevena (departed), and his younger siblings included his brother, Pando (departed), his brother Cane, and his sister, Vasa. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Zorka, and their sons, Sasko, with his wife, Anica, their sons, Kristijan and Antonio (departed), and Kristijan's wife, Viktorija, and Oliver, with his wife, Beti, and their son, Nicholas.

Risto, along with his wife, was able to build a resilient family. He started life in the agricultural village of Bukovo, just outside of Bitola in Macedonia. He grew up through the Second World War. Following the end of the war, he was able to earn an education. Risto married his wife, Zorka in 1962 after finishing his education. He was proud of his career as an inspector with the local government. During his career, he was responsible for auditing local economic activity and record-keeping. Risto and Zorka were able to raise their sons, Sasko (born 1963) and Oliver (born 1967), in the town of Resen. In pursuit of a better life for his children, he legally immigrated to the United States in the spring of 1991. Risto retired in 2007.

Risto was incredibly proud of his family, and he enjoyed spending his time with his family and in the Macedonian Orthodox church. Risto and Zorka's home was the place that the Nocevski family congregated at for all kinds of occasions and holidays. There was nothing Risto enjoyed more than seeing his grandchildren. Risto had a passion for gardening. He and Zorka maintained their large vegetable gardens together throughout their whole time in the United States.
