Rita M Sams age 90 passed away on Thursday evening October 13, 2022, from complications due to heart disease.  Rita had been in declining health the last couple of years and had resided at Brookdale at Lakeview Crossing in Groveport Ohio for the past 10 months with the last two weeks under hospice care. Prior to this she had resided in Columbus, Ohio.  Rita was born in the Township of Allensville, Ohio to the late Harold and Marie Seitz (Clary).  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Danny, infant sister Glenna Mae Seitz, and loving sisters Anna Berridge and Ruth Wuertz. She is survived by her one and lonely son Keith Brown of Phoenix, Arizona along with nieces, nephews and close personal friend Edgil Fairchild (Thank You) and school classmates Vera Minton and Gladys Davis.  Rita was valedictorian of her high school in Allensville,  the class of 1950.  She had worked for Ohio Bell, Nationwide Insurance and Columbia Gas throughout her life.  She had been an avid collector of Beanie Babies and had several hundred in her collection.  Rita was a tried-and-true Cincinnati Reds fan since the seventies.  She also enjoyed puzzles, especially crosswords, and when feeling better she liked going to movies with her friend Vera.  I would like to thank Evans Funeral Home along with Forest Lawn Cemetery for doing an exceptional job. Rita was laid to rest on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Mother, I will be forever grateful and thankful for all your kindness and generosity.  I know you are at peace.  Until we meet again.  Your loving son, Keith.
