Robert W. "Bob" Galloway, age 89, of Reynoldsburg OH passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023, at his residence in Georgia with his daughter by his side. He was born August 22, 1933, in Georgesville, OH where he lived until he met the love of his life and moved to Columbus, OH, and then, once married, to Reynoldsburg OH. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60+ years, Charlotte Galloway, parents, Robert and Ruth Galloway, daughters Peggy Wunn and Caren James, as well as sibling Mary Chaffin, and dear friend, Gus Huffman. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Bostic, daughter; Brenda (Joel) Grimes, sons-in-law Sonny Wunn and Bobby James, grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Brodie, Tammy (Brian) Craig, Chris (Danielle) Wunn, Heather James, Sabrina (Chuck) Collins, Tabatha (Bobby) Brown, Bobby James Jr.; great grandchildren Daniel James, Maya Rader, Brittany Collins, Cody Baker, Maddison Craig, Kylee Craig, Arabella Wunn, Charlotte Wunn, and Catherine Brodie, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and family. Bob worked for many grocery stores, but his longest tenure was for Hammond Food Company where he spent most of his working years as a salesman, retiring from A B Wise. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and taking family vacations and going to the activities of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying football and baseball, getting to see the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs live; but his greatest pleasure in sports was going to the horse races at Churchill Downs, Keeneland, and Scioto Downs along with many others. He also enjoyed bowling and getting together with friends and family. He was a member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed gatherings with the Social Ones. Friends may call Friday, February 3, 2023, 4-7 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Pastor Bob Mathias officiating. Interment Union Evangelical Cemetery.
