Robert "Bob" David Rose SR, 80, died surrounded by family on April 3, 2023, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. His family is deeply saddened by his passing.

Bob was born on May 21, 1942, in Fairfield County, the son of Roy and Jesse (Moore) Rose. Bob worked many years as a sheet metal welder and retired apart of the sheet metal union. He was known as "Rosie."

Bob's true passion was cars. He had various hot rods, antique and project cars that he loved to work on and collect. He loved to travel to various car shows all over. He participated in many of them, winning lots of awards, specifically in flame throwing contests. Bob was well loved by everyone and had a great sense of humor. He never met a stranger.

Bob had four children, Robert D Rose Jr, Jeff Rose, Rebecca Coleman and Rodger Pyle. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Madolyn Rose.

In addition to his children, Bob is survived by his grandchildren, Michael, Amber, Heather, David, Jon, Chris, Jennifer, Lacy, Carly and Robert. Forever remembered by his sister Doris Jean Castaneda, nephew and niece, Angel Castaneda and Tammy Castaneda- Sanchez. He also had many great grandchildren and an abundance of friends.

Bob was preceded in in death parents Roy and Jesse Rose, brother James "Jim" Rose.
