Ruth Ann Angel-Drake age 63, sunrise April 26, 1959 sunset January 4, 2023 at her residence. Where her loving husband Steven W. Drake of 23 years and her beloved friend Jena surrounded her.  Ruth Ann was born in Columbus, Ohio the only child to the late Pastor Claud William Angel Jr and Margherita Paul-Angel. She accepted Christ at an early age under her Father Pastoral Care. Ruth Ann attended and graduated Columbus Public Schools; She was a faithful employee under Franklin County for 42 years. Ruth Ann has known Pool bear Steven since kindergarten and they were married on April 15, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio, to the union there were no children. Ruth love to get her haircut, pedicures and massages. Steve and Ruth always celebrated wedding anniversaries at Red Lobster, Ruth loved seafood; she has a very eclectic palate and is willing to try anything.  Ruth Ann loves her cat Sammy that she got while living at home with her parents and got Josie cat after she moved into her new home. She loved keeping house, caring for her husband and relatives. Ruth loved traveling, art/crafts, and watching TV soaps and Special Olympics games. Ruth Ann has a loving kind spirit. Ruth was well loved by all and those at Brooks Homes Supported Living, co-workers and her Special Olympic Community. Ruth Ann has a big heart, a big smile that could light up the world and a laugh that would keep you laughing for days. Preceded in death by her parents, Pastor Claud William Angel Jr and Margherita Paul-Angel, father-in-law Solomon Harris.  Survived by husband Steven W. Drake, mother-in-law Inez Harris; uncle Herold Angel, Janet Angel; cousins David Angel, June Fellure, Carolyn Cook and Paul Ditcher. Family and Friends will miss Ruth.
