Ruth Emma "Emogene" Curry age 91 of Whitehall, Ohio formerly of Holden, WV passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday, July 29, 2022.  Ruth was born July 3, 1931, daughter of Audna and Delphia (Webb) Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Everette Curry, her sisters Virginia (Ealois) Mullins, and Carol Thompson.  Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Randy (Melissa) Curry, Rick (Brenda) Curry, and Tim Curry, sister, Diana Babcock, brother, Glen (Aracoma) Hall, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Ruth attended Marshall University, The Ohio State University, and Famous Artists School.  Her interests included studying the Bible, art, teaching, gospel music, sewing and gardening among other things. The family would especially like to thank the staff at Story Point and Capital City Hospice.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, 12:00 Noon Evans Funeral Home 4171 E. Livingston Ave. Pastor Jerry Neal officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
