Sandra Ann (Storts) Jones passed on Sunday, March 29, 2026. She attended high school at Walnut Ridge High School in Columbus and worked for years for Coaxial Cable. She was Sandi to her friends and family but was MawMaw to everyone else she met. She never met a stranger and always made everyone feel welcome and loved.

Sandi was preceded in death by her husband, Michael (Mike) Preston Jones I, and the family is so glad they are finally together again. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Maxley Storts and Evelyn "Chickie" Dostie Storts Ege; sisters, Linda Storts Moseley and Shelley Storts Hemingway; brothers, Donald and Dannie Storts and nephews, Sean Storts and Austin Rhodeback.

She is survived by her son, Michael Preston Jones II; daughter, Melissa Jones Ward; brothers Skipper and Ricky Storts; sister, Marianne Storts Krebs, brothers-in-law, Jeff Krebs and Mark Moseley; sister-in-law, Pam Storts and grandkids; Mikey Preston Jones III, Alexandra Ward, Gabriel Armstrong, Seth Ward, Aiden Ward, Olivia Armstrong and Charlotte Armstrong. Sandi loved family and especially all her nieces and nephews. Megan and Brittany, Kyle, Kroy and Maxlee, Nicole and Rachel, Adrienne and Tony; Ricky, Josh, and Wesley; Jamie; and Tara, Jennifer, Bradley and Joshua. She also loved her great nieces and nephews with all her heart.

Sandi has finally gone home to the Lord and is at peace. She will be missed every single day, but we know she is with the love of her life.
