Sandra Pauline Nowacki May 22, 1939 – January 14, 2022, passed away peacefully at Bluebird Retirement Center where she had been a resident for over 2 years.  Sandy retired from OSU Lab Animal Facility, trained racehorses and was a 6 ^th grade teacher during her career.  She was a member of the Buckeye Leathercrafters of Central Ohio.  She was an amazing artist.  She had a great love and special connection to animals especially her dogs.  She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Dorothy Nowacki, longtime friend Maxine Williams. Survived by sisters Vicki (Rod) Williams, Cindy (Tom) Schleppi, nephew Dustin Hunter) Schleppi, nieces Jaclyn (Nathan) Webb, Brandi (George) Custer, Kelly (Eric) Zimmerman, Stacie (Gary) White and numerous cousins and friends.  Funeral service Saturday, 2:30 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call from 12:30 PM until time of service.
