Shirley Jude, a beloved resident of Pickerington, Ohio, entered eternal rest on December 6, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 85. Born on June 20, 1939, in Matewan, West Virginia, Shirley was the cherished daughter of Eldo and Virgie (Brown) Brinkley and spent her early years in Williamson, WV.

A devoted mother, Shirley is survived by her three children, Debbie, Kathy, and Scott, and was a proud grandmother to Natalie, Jeremy, Justin, and Katie. Her legacy of love continues through her five great-grandchildren: Cora, Elliott, Magdalene, Clemant, and Louis, who brought immense joy to her life. She was reunited in heaven with her loving husband, LB, and her siblings Earl, Lacy, Bill, Paul, and Kitty.

Shirley dedicated over 30 years to her career at Kroger, where her hard work and determination were admired by all. Her deep faith was evident in her commitment to her community, supporting numerous non-profits and church affiliations. Her generous spirit and devotion to her faith were guiding lights in her life.

For over five decades, Shirley called Pickerington home, where she was known for her love of Ohio State football and her passion for gardening. Among her flowers, she found peace and a connection to the divine, reflecting her love for God's creation.

Shirley's life will be celebrated at a service at Evans Funeral Home, 4171 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43227 on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 1:00PM where friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, as she leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and unwavering faith. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love of her Savior.
