Stephen Craig Botley, 90, of Blacklick, passed away at his home on March 31, 2026. He was born on February 5, 1936, in Barberton, Ohio.

Stephen proudly served his country as a member of the United States Naval Reserves. He later worked as a packaging engineer for Rockwell International before retiring.

His many interests included euchre at the Eagles, coin collecting, genealogy, The Ohio State Buckeyes, camping, his license plate collection, antique tools, cameras, and bike riding.

Stephen is survived by his sons, Craig (Tammy) Botley and Keith (Elke) Botley; grandchildren Nicole Wingfield, Brian Botley, Mallory Botley, Emma Wardlow, Hunter Combs, and Allison (Tim) Ney; as well as several great‑grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William and Edith Botley; his wife, Mable Botley (Harmer); his daughter and son‑in‑law, Denise (Mark) Wardlow; his brother and sister‑in‑law, Keith (Ginny) Botley; and his granddaughters, Erica Lancour (Botley) and Elizabeth Fuller (Wardlow).

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a service to follow. Burial will take place at Violet Township Cemetery in Pickerington, Ohio.
