Stephen Earl "Steve" Cain age 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Monday August 25, 2025.  Steve was well liked by everyone and always left somewhere making a new friend. He was an avid car collector and lover of all things muscle cars. Steve loved supporting and following his Buckeyes. He was big on family and togetherness, loved camping, fishing, hunting, and Dale Earnhardt.  Steve loved taking many trips to the beach with his children and grandchildren.  Music was always playing in the background, and he especially enjoyed Elvis, The Rolling Stones, and Bruce Springsteen.  With a heart of gold, it would easily take an hour for him to say his goodbyes.  He will be immensely missed by his family and friends.  Preceded in death by wife Brenda Cain, child Stevie Cain, parents Earl and Wilma Jean Cain.  Survived by children Stepanie Cain and Brian Dwyer, Stacy and Jonathan Simko, Scott Cain, Shane and Desi Cain; grandchildren D.J. Tucker, Jacob, Brian, Aly, Emiley; siblings Bonnie Akers, Pamela and Gary Kellison, Randy and Chris Cain, Gary and Misty Cain, Carrie Cain; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Funeral service Friday, August 29, 2025 1:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Pastor David Kramer officiating. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.
