Obituary

Steve Georgeff, age70, Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence.   Graduate of OSU and master's degree from Xavier University.  Retired educator with Columbus Public Schools, 1974-2004.  Avid sports fan-Buckeyes, Browns and Indians.  Survived by sisters, Nancy Miller, Janice (Greg) Chachoff; nephews and nieces, Patrick Fornof, Jill Embrey, Amy (Jeff) Reed, Tsana (Adam) Place, Angie Chachoff, Arianna (Mikael) Winkler; several great nephews and nieces; stepdaughters, Karla Manzanilla Ross, Marie (Jason) Manzanilla Miller; stepson Justo (Amanda) Manzanilla; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; former wife, Karen Kluge; best friend Jim Underwood; loving faithful companions Pearl and Magoo.  Preceded in death by parents, John and Fanny Georgeff; brother-in-law Gary Miller; cousin Larry Smith.  Friends may call Monday June 28, 2021 2-4PM and 6-8PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where funeral service will be held Tuesday June 29, 2021 12 Noon.   Fr. Demetrios Gardikes officiating.  Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the Steve Georgeff Memorial Fund which will be administered via The Columbus Foundation 1234 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43205 or the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute, 650 Clinic Dr., TRP III, Ste. 1500, Mobile, Al. 36688.
