Susan Carol Browning, age 74, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Saturday May 23, 2026. Born August 6, 1951, Carol was a devoted wife, loving mother, treasured family member, faithful friend, and a woman whose heart belonged fully to God and Jesus Christ. Carol dedicated her life to serving others with kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family and supporting those in need. Whether through her church, her community, or the quiet acts of generosity she offered every day, Carol lived as an example of Christ’s love. She gave freely of her time, energy, and heart, always placing the needs of others before her own. Carols greatest blessing was raising her children Tina, Rick, and Allan with grace, patience, kindness, and compassion. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for 40 years, serving in many areas, but mainly in the kids ministry alongside her husband of 41 years, Greg. Carol also ran an in home daycare for 40 years, committing herself to raising the children she watched with the strong core values she believed in. Survived by children Rick (Erin) Jones, Allan (Katie) Browning, grandchildren William (Lillian), Ava, Ashlyn, Bailey, Bryce, Brynna, Trey, Taryn, Benjamin, Wesley; great grandchild, Graham; son in law Jamie (Krysta) Martin. Proceeded in death by parents Caleb Gar Mink, Mary Magdalene Mink; husband Gregory Browning; brother Jarold Mink; daughter Tina Martin; grandchild Tyler Martin; daughter-in-law Fawn Jones. A service to honor Carol’s life will be held Thursday June 4, 2026, 12:00 Noon at Fellowship Baptist Church 4701 Winchester Pike, Columbus, Ohio 43232 where friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of service. Pastor Tony Liuzzo officiating. Interment Asbury Cemetery. If flowers are appreciated, they can be sent to Fellowship Baptist Church. Above all, Carol treasured her family (both personal and church families). She poured her love into every moment spent with those she held dear and created a legacy of faith, compassion, strength, and unconditional love that will continue for generations. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her family finds peace in knowing she is now resting in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served throughout her life. Carol will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
