Theodore
Nedelkoff
Sep 1, 1939 — Sep 13, 2025
Columbus
Theodore (Metodija, "Tode," "Ted") Nedelkoff, 86, joined his wife, Vera in heaven on September 13, 2025. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by love and family. Born in Capari, Macedonia, Ted immigrated to the United States as a teenager, carrying with him a strong faith, work ethic, and devotion to family.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Stevanka and George, and his beloved wife, Vera. Ted and Vera were partners in life, raising their two daughters Donna (Vancho) Janakievski and Diana (Chris) Turoff and truly enjoyed traveling the world together with their good friends.
Ted took immense pride in his grandchildren, Nikolina and Alexander Janakievski and Isabella and Nicholas Turoff. He attended all their school events and sporting games as he loved celebrating each of their accomplishments. He cherished taking them on ice cream "dates" to Dairy Queen, OSU games, breakfast at Bob Evans, and giving them rides on his tractor, creating memories with them with his unique sense of humor.
After high school, Ted graduated from college with an accounting degree and spent his career working for Big Bear & Hearts corporation. He also served in the Army and is a US veteran. A devoted Christian, he was an active member of St. Mary's Macedonian Orthodox Church, where he volunteered and remained a pillar of the Macedonian community. His faith, family, and commitment to education were the cornerstones of his life.
A funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Macedonian Orthodox Church. Friends may call at 9:30am on Friday, September 19th, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 10:30am. Friends who wish may contribute to St Jude Children's Research Hospital which was his favorite charity or to St Mary's Church. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
