Obituary

Tina Riley was born to Albert and Priscilla Chemnitz on April 23, 1960, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio at Doctor's West. She grew up with her two brothers Junior and David as military brats. She graduated from Independence High School in Columbus Ohio. Tina met her husband Paul in 1979 and got married on July 2, 1987. Tina had two children from a prior marriage Jeffrey and Brian Saunders. Also, Paul came into the marriage with a child Synetha Riley. They had one child together Jalen Riley. The one thing you could always be sure of is that Tina loved her family especially her children. She loved to decorate her house. Holidays were great source of enjoyment for her. Christmas was her favorite time of year. From her holiday dinner, cookie tins, and presents she loved it all. In 2008 SeaJai Colston was able to track down her biological siblings. They were able to finally meet in June of the same year. Tina was truly grateful that she was able to meet her sister. Tina also had 11 grandchildren Ashlee, Kayli, Mason, Cross, Alexis, Sarah, D'Quiamte, D'Shante, Gabriel, Justice, and Astonish. As well as having three great-grandchildren Eugene, Annalisha, and Jolee. Her siblings were SeaJai Colston, Albert Chemnitz Jr, and David Chemnitz. Tina was the most forgiving loyal and loving person you could have known. She loved to shop and find a great deal. She made a room feel brighter and a stranger was never a stranger for long. She had the most amazing sense of humor and such a quick wit. Tina was not only a daughter but a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and a really great person. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind but at least now she'll be able to go into the arms of her parents.
