In Loving Memory of Todd Emerson Merritt
June 12th, 1964 - July 19th, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Todd Merritt, who went home to be with the Lord on July 19th, 2025. Todd was a man of deep faith, unwavering love, and infectious laughter. He was devoted to his beautiful wife of 20 years, Niphaphan, whom he cherished with all his heart. Their bond was a beautiful example of love, patience, and partnership. Together, they built a life they loved. Todd was a constant source of support, guidance, and laughter. He was known for his sense of humor and making everyone laugh around him. Todd was a man of deep faith and loved his Church, The Calvary Chapel. Todd is survived by his wife Niphaphan Merritt; son Natthawut Buengkai of Thailand; daughter in law Phannaraj Buengkai of Thailand; granddaughter - Bantita Bnengkai of Thailand; mother MaryAnn Grimshaw; sisters Patricia K. Largent of Cadiz, Ohio, Deb Hollis (Neal) of South Carolina; brother Scott Merritt (Nuova) of Columbus, Ohio; step-sisters Vicki Grimshaw of Columbus, Ohio, Cindy Grimshaw-Meeks (Bill) of Hilliard, Ohio; step-brother Robert Grimshaw (Rita) of Columbus, Ohio; nieces Tara Baker (Bob Kist) of Hubbard, Ohio, Kayla Olinski (Dustin) of Cadiz, Ohio; nephews Alexander Largent (Britney) of Byesville, Ohio, Josh Hollis (Megan) of South Carolina; several great nieces and nephews; special friend Terry Lyons; friend & coworker Brad Duryea. Preceded in death by his father Richard Emerson Merritt. Though our hearts are broken, we are comforted knowing he is now at peace, likely cracking jokes with the angels and keeping everyone smiling in Heaven. Livingston Ave. A Celebration of Todd's life is being held on Saturday, August 16th at the Calvary Chapel Church located at 6075 East Livingston, Columbus, Ohio 43232 at 1:00 PM.
