Valerie Jo Thomas, age 60, lost her courageous battle with cancer Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

She is survived by her fiancée Dan Arrowood - her ultimate caregiver throughout her journey.

In addition to Dan, Valerie is survived by Sophie, her parents Eugene Thomas and Peggi Crosier, stepsons Jacob, Nate and Seth Arrowood, sister-in-law Nancy Thomas, loving caregivers Tami Angel and Jan Woodruff, niece Erica Thomas, nephew Warren Thomas, and great niece Kamryn Lewis, uncles, aunt, and many cousins.

Valerie treasured time with her friends at her Flamingo Rose Tiki Bar especially when THE Ohio State buckeyes were playing.  Valerie had the biggest heart full of joy and was a friend to everyone she met.  She enjoyed making scented candles, crafting, and collecting Ohio State memorabilia.

Funeral service Thursday, March 2, 2023 1:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment Union Grove Cemetery.

Hippie and Buckeye attire is requested.
