Vasil Brutovski, age 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 12th, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio, with his children by his side. Born January 15, 1935, in the village Bukovo, North Macedonia, he immigrated to the United States in 1973 to work in the garment industry as a skilled tailor, and his whole family soon followed.   Vasil was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a dear friend. During his 67-year marriage, he always remained a family man, enjoyed family gatherings where he loved to joke around and laugh, and play with his grandkids. He was an avid sports fan, loved to watch old movies and enjoyed a good cup of coffee every day before he would go to work in the garden. Vasil was a proud member of the Macedonian Christian Orthodox Church. He is survived by his children Anica (Aco) Atanasovski, Slavica Petrovski, and Tomislav Brutovski; grandchildren Emily (Jayson), Elena (Dimce), Michelle (Jove), Jordan, Ilija, Bianca and Antoni; great grandchildren, Aleksandar, Lili, Jaxson, Weston, Zaneta; many other loving family and friends.  Preceded in death by his wife, Liljana; parents, Atanas and Lenka Brutovski; mother and father-in-law Vangel and Gjurga Trpcevski, son in law, Tome Petrovski. Friends may call Thursday, June 16th, 6-8pm at Evans Funeral Home, 4171 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio.  Funeral service will be Friday, June 17th 11:00am at St. Mary Macedonian Orthodox Church, 400 S. Waggoner Rd, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.  Rev. Radovan Cekovski officiating. Following the service, Interment will be at Glen Rest Cemetery, 8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH.
