Verdella L. Lowery age 93 of Reynoldsburg, died Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. She was born July 12, 1928 near Fresno, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert E. and Bernice B. (Reiss) Scherer. On November 10, 1946 she married Paul F. Lowery who preceded her in death on May 27, 1989. She was a 1946 graduate of Fresno High School. She enjoyed her family, caring for her home and flowers and doing crossword puzzles. She had attended Parkview Presbyterian Church, Reynoldsburg. She is survived by two sons David G. Lowery (Arlene) of Deland FL & Daniel A. Lowery of Reynoldsburg, a daughter Susan E. Ryan (Tim) of Newark; sisters-in-law Margie Scherer of Canal Lewisville OH & Joan Scherer of Columbus; four grandchildren Anne, Michael, Candace & Paul; five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews & cousins. She was also preceded in death by infant daughter Kathy Jo Lowery, son Dean Robert Lowery, three brothers Carl E. Scherer, Richard W. Scherer & Raymond A. Scherer and sister Florence E. Corbett.
