Verla Ann Pitts was born on April 22, 1936, in Monmouth, Oregon, to William and Venna Brooks. Passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She is lovingly remembered by her special friend Ted Murphy; brother Ron Brooks; son Charles Culp Jr. (Michelle); daughter Jeanne Clark; son Timothy Culp; grandchildren Nathan Rich, Ian Winkelman, Stevie Clark (Juan), Dillon Culp (Hayley), Andrew Culp, Gabrielle Culp and Sydney Culp; great-grandchildren  Nathan Skinner, Kemara Humphrey, Wyatt Culp, August Culp, Waylon Culp, Evrett Culp and Remington Culp, great-great granddaughter Alice Rose Skinner.

Verla cherished time with her family, especially during birthdays and holidays. She enjoyed scenic rides with Ted to Lancaster for a meal, painting, ceramics, word find puzzles, a good movie, Mexican food, and cookies. Her warmth, creativity, and love for life touched everyone who knew her. She is now home with or Lord and Savior!

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM New Faith Church 6700 Thrush Dr. Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. Pastor Rich Vinson officiating.
