Obituary

Vesa Rambevska Krstevska, age 94, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.  Vesa was born on June 14, 1929, in Dolno Perovo, Macedonia where she was one of five children. She immigrated to the United States in 1978 with her family and settled in Columbus, Ohio.  She was a hard-working woman who retired from Mt. Carmel East Hospital. A longtime member of the St. Mary's Macedonian Orthodox Church, she was deeply religious and prayerful. Her family fondly remembers how much she enjoyed watching The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. She was the best storyteller, the keeper of tradition that will linger on. Above all, she was a mother, grandmother "Baba", great-grandmother and a loving wife to her husband. May her memory be eternal.

Vesa is preceded in death by her parents, Mice and Koca Rambevski, younger brother Nane Rambevski, younger sister Draga Jankovska, niece Mileva Milosevska. Also predeceased by Susie Stavreff, Dance Cabilovski, Dana Damovska and many other loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Nikola Krstevski, devoted daughters Milica (Kire) Stojanovski and Vase (Mitko) Gruevski; grandchildren Diana (Clint) Young, Ramona (Jesse) Kline, Pece Stojanovski, Zaneta (Leo) Renegado; great-grandchildren Evan, Caelen, Danica, Jett, Minka and Naomi; older sister Evda Damovska and younger brother Petre (Christine) Rambevski and other extended family members here in the United States, Australia and Macedonia.

Calling hours will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home, 4147 E. Livingston Ave. followed by funeral service at 11a.m.  Reverend Radovan Cekovski officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.

A special thank you to Mt. Carmel Hospice and the many nurses that assisted in her care.
