Viola Gathers, age 67 passed away Thursday November 23, 2023.  Originally from Tiffin, Ohio, moving to Columbus in 2017.  Member of Heritage Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved watching her soaps, collecting her candles and adored her house plants.  She loved talking on the phone with friends and relatives.  Survived by sons, Chris (Leslie) Brooks and Brandon Gathers; grandchildren, Truth, Toreion, Ausar, Auset, Jamarion, Channing; sister, Dorothy Sanchez; brothers, Harvey Mizen, Harold Mizen, Albert Mizen; nieces, Staphanie Wilson, and her children Kevin, Alliyah, and Junior, Dawn Davis, and her children. Funeral service Friday, December 1, 2023 2:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Tracy Fowler officiating.
