Vonda Faye Hart Strawn of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio. She was born February 18, 1932, to the late Pearl L. and Florence L. French Hart.  She was preceded in death by first husband, Gail C. Smith, son, Terry L. Smith, grandson, Chad L. Smith, twin-sister Wanda Mae Hart (Richard) Kunkler, and her parent. She is survived by her husband of 28 ½ years, Samuel C. Strawn, sisters-in-law, Florence E. Tipple, Alta Darlene Ruff, brother-in-law, Leo E. (Kay) Strawn. Special niece Sue Ann Kunkler Beck and special sister friend Iris (Kathy) Starner.

A special Big Hug to everyone at Fair Hope Pickering House for the loving care that they showed to Vonda and myself.  A special thanks to Vonda's visiting nurse Crystal, her bath lady Nina and Chaplin Mark. They are the best!

Cremation has taken place and burial will take place at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, OH. A celebration of Vonda's life will take place at the Hope Community Church of the Nazarene 3570 Coonpath Rd. NW, Lancaster, OH on Saturday May 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
