Walter Monroe age 82, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021.  He loved watching football, especially the Buckeyes and Buccaneers.  He loved playing horseshoes and pool.  Survived by wife, Jocelyn Monroe; daughters, Alice (Thomas) Stepp, Barbara (Terry) Rodgers, Kayci (Jason) Decker, Brenda (Dano) Greer; sons, Lucky (Lottie) Monroe, Rick (Rose) Monroe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Janie (Paul) Hogle; many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by son, Leo Monroe; dad's daughters, Norma Monroe, Shirley (Andy) Harris, Jocelyn (Shawn) Cloud; sister, Alice Holsteine; brothers, George Monroe, and Charlie Monroe.  Funeral service Wednesday, January 5, 2022, 3:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
