Yvonne Mae Allen went home into God's loving arms. She was born Nov. 1, 1937, and passed Nov. 29, 2023, surrounded by her family. Yvonne leaves husband Jack of 67 years; sons Trent (Kim) Allen, Jon-Scott (Lori) Allen, Eric Allen; daughter Apryl (Eric) Warner; grandchildren Troy Allen, Halee Allen Vest (Peyton), Lydia Warner Powell (Jermil) and Avery Warner (Paige Bormann); West High School Cowgirl friends. Preceded in death by parents Kensel and Doris Birkhead. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars, Grove City Chapter; Past Grand First Lady of the Grand Lodge of Ohio, and a lifelong Presbyterian. She attended Ohio State University. She was a secretary with State Farm Insurance, and a legal secretary at John Glenn International Airport. Her family wants to thank the medical professionals of Mt. Carmel East Hospital's ICU, neurology, and Hospice units, and chaplains, as well as the Rev. David Redding, Central College Presbyterian Church. Services will be at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Avenue, Wednesday, Dec.6th, where friends may call from 10-12, followed by services at Noon. Burial will be in the Masonic Garden at Forest Lawn Cemetery immediately after.
